Start Low and Go Slow...
Too high of a dose can cause a bad trip if you are new to dosing. You can always take more later, but you can't take less; so start slow (1/2 to 1 piece) and slowly increase if desired for next time. Effects can be expected to start within 30 to 60 minutes.
